Phobjikha Valley of Bhutan – A Day Trip to be Remembered | Cinematic Vlog #3

In my last two vlogs I have shown places like Thimphu, Punakha and its sightseeing destination. In this 3rd vlog of Bhutan I am going to show you one of the best places in Bhutan and its called Phobjikha Valley. It is a vast U-shaped glacial valley, also known as Gangteng Valley and named after the impressive Gangteng Monastery.

Well before entering this valley we have visited a village called Phallus Village and a monastery there which is called Chimi Lhakhang Monastery. This village has its own specialty. The people of this village believe that there was a monk who was crazy, mad and when women from this village were not getting pregnant then they used to come at this place and that monk blessed them, helped them to get pregnant. This ritual is going on for long time and they are really getting results. Also you get to see many art works (phallus) on the wall of this village houses.

After visiting this village we have started our journey for Phobjikha Valley. Well here are some important info about the trip.
