This Winter in Kolkata you will get a flavor of Chinese lighting festivals. First time in India, China India Lantern Festival or Magical Panda Lights Show is happening in Kolkata’s own Nicco Park. A team from Sichaun illuTrans Culture Communication Co., Ltd has constructed some huge structure/models of Dragon, Panda and many more. This festival of Magical Panda show will be going for 3 months from December to February.

This China’s lighting company. illuTrans is exhibiting this show in all around the World. they have already completed their tour in the USA, UAE, France, London, Spain, and many other places. This is their first show in India. This Magical Panda Lights Show at Nicco Park
Nicco Park has entered into a collaboration with the premier illumination companies from Sichuan, China to present this Festival of Magical Panda Lights. This is the first time such work has been brought in India.
In Nicco Park around a Lake total 10 lantern groups have been created. It stated with a group of pandas with the clutch of bamboo shoots and end with another section which is based on Africa which has zebras, giraffes, and camels aglow in a cluster. It has also a big floating dragon. Also, there is a group of fish spread over a 32ft radius in the lake. Jumping fish denote success and prosperity in Chinese culture.

The festival will be available from December 2018 to February 2019
There are two Magical Panda shows in Nicco Park:
#1. Magical Panda Day Show
Price: ₹60.00 / per head
Timings: 12noon – 4.00pm.
#2. Magical Panda Evening Show
Price: ₹120.00 / per head
Timings: 5.00pm – 10:00pm.
For your information, the main light show is in the evening show, the day show is actually just a walk through.
